10 pounder

Piper was 10lbs at her last check in, 5 weeks on March 18th! She is slowly developing her own little personality and keeping mommy and daddy busy, she laughed out load for the first time this week and it was adorable! It's going to be an exciting month for her; we just arrived at Nana and Papaws house in Alabama and will be staying a week while daddy is off in Houston for work. Then at the end of the month we will be in Indiana and Ohio visiting friends and family. We are all very excited.

Today Piper is 1 month old! The last 4 weeks have flown by; I can't believe how much she has grown over the last few weeks. At her last appt, she was 8.7lbs but we go back next Friday and I'm thinking that number has increased a bit. She looks and feels a lot bigger!

Kevin and I would like to invite ya'll to share in our latest adventure, parenthood! We feel this blog will allow us to keep in touch with our friends and family near and far. And hopefully allow you all to join us in watching Piper grow!

We welcomed Piper LuAnn into this world on February 11, 2011. My original due date was February 24th but she blessed us with an early arrival. Weighing in at 8lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches long, Piper was ready to make her debut after 17 hours of labor.
